Williamsburg, Virginia
June 2018: Family Vacation

We left for Williamsburg, Virginia at 8:45 am on Friday, June 22nd (my parent's 27th wedding anniversary!), and what was supposed to be a 6-hour drive turned into a 12-hour drive due to construction, accidents, and rush hour traffic outside of Washington, D.C.  Considering this rough start, the rest of the trip was a breeze, including the ride home which was completed in many hours less than before. Our first day, it was supposed to rain, so we went to see Incredibles 2. I, personally, loved it!! We spent two non-consecutive days in Colonial Williamsburg which was extremely interesting! My favorite part of our trip, as well as everyone else, was the Colonial Williamsburg ghost tour that we took!! Our tour guide was very well-versed and gave us an extra hour for our tour that was scheduled. On our trip, we also spent a day at Busch Gardens (which I had previously been to last 4 years ago for Spring trip and our awards ceremony) as well as their water park, Water Country USA. Some other various activities that we did were playing 'What Do You Meme', touring (and the "adults" tasting) at Williamsburg Winery, chilling at our resort pool, visiting the campus of William and Mary, and playing racquetball. Overall, we had a wonderful trip, and so many laughs and memories, and I can't wait for our next trip!!
